Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a Buyer III (Procurement Analyst 2) to support the Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) program. The Under general supervision, Buyer III (Procurement Analyst 2) is responsible for the procurement of a high volume and variety of materials, supplies, equipment and services necessary for the operation of the organization. Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers and negotiates price, delivery, quality and service. The Buyer III ensures that the items and services to build and maintain advanced technology products are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions. An important aspect of this role is seeking maximum value for through time and cost agreements while working with technology advanced products.
Position requires flexibility to work occasional non-standard work hours and work weeks of more than 40 hours to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements. Additionally, position requires flexibility as duties and responsibilities may be adjusted to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements.
