Who We Are:

HII-Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is looking for a Logistics Analyst to support a Military contract in Abingdon, MD.

Logistician needs to be experienced in logistics support, inventories, property management, Logistics & Inventory System (LIS) support, shipping and receiving, movement and transportation of equipment, managing component obsolescence, shelf-life management of materials and consumables, supporting system configuration management, and management and track material orders for long lead items. Logistician will be also experienced in SharePoint application.


What You Will Do:

  • Inventory management
  • Property and logistics reporting
  • Conduct 10% physical inventories at multiple locations monthly and 100% inventories at multiple locations annually
  • Uploads and tracks supply, training, and maintenance actions in Logistics Information System (LIS) and SharePoint.
  • Ensuring accurate data is entered into Maximo® LIS Database
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, kitting, shelf life management, inventories, equipment fielding and work order management
  • Classify equipment designated for OCONUS shipments
  • Works in a team environment
  • Participates in Working Groups to identify process improvements and optimizations
  • Operational Readiness

What We're Looking For:

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management operations and shelf-life management.

  • Experience in shipping and ITAR support

  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, possess a Secret Security Clearance, possess or able to obtain a U.S. Passport and U.S. and International Drivers License’s.

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret Security clearance. 

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience providing logistics support to complex equipment
  • Five (5) years’ experience providing logistics support to complex equipment
  • Five (5) years’ experience serving as a Logistics lead
  • Experience in developing complex logistics support operations, deployments, and exercises
  • U.S. Military service veteran or experience working with the U.S. military and interfacing directly with uniformed military personnel, understanding military protocol and Chain of Command
  • Knowledge of CBRN operations
