HII Unmanned Systems Inc requires a Property Administrator to lead the Government Property administration process for the Division. This position will have full responsibility and oversight of the policies, procedures, work instructions, DCMA audits, and data bases required to be compliant with Government Contract property flow downs.

This is an exciting opportunity to become the point of contact for the division and lead the sustainment and improvement of the Government property administration systems. This would include the day to day transactions, contract reviews for property, audits, self assessments, implementation, and training.

Subject Matter Expertise (SME) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) for property management is extremely important to be successful at this position.

What you will be doing...

Administers property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of company, government, or associate contractor, property and assets in accordance with applicable corporate policy or government regulations. Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Contacts potential users and negotiates transfers. Conducts property audits, develops, recommends, and implements property administration policies. Provides guidance on company policy and government regulations pertaining to property accountability. Performs self assessments and supplier assessments per the FAR, conducts Inventory audits, manages customer owned inventories, and prepares reports for customer CDRL.

What we are looking for...

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

  • Subject Matter Expertise in Government Property Management per Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.245-1 Government Property

  • Excellent communication skills using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

  • Prior use of Property databases such as EQuip (or similar) and PIEE

  • Proven success at conducting successful DCMA Property Management System Analysis (PMSA)

  • Must be located on site at the Pocasset Facility due to hands on nature of material movement and accountability #LI-MH1 *EP *TL *MV

  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certification.  There are three levels of certification:
    • Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS)
    • Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA)

    • Property Transfer for Contractors

Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
