HII-Mission Technologies Division is currently seeking a Senior Farsi Cryptologic Language Analyst to perform tasks required to process language materials/data at the customer site in Fort Meade, Maryland! 

What you will do

The candidate shall demonstrate the following cryptologic language processing skills:

  • Scanning, sorting/categorizing foreign language written and verbal materials to recover essential elements of information
  • Completing lists, translations, and transcriptions, of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken materials from required language to English, and English to the required language
  • Performing quality control on language processing activities
  • Compiling and updating operational work aids and databases
  • Drafting intelligence reports

What we are looking for

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
  • Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation or text translation from target language into idiomatic, standard American English; skill level shall be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly 

Bonus points for...

  • 10-15 years in cryptologic language processing; related language - oral translations, non-crypto audio/graphic translations, document exploitation, formal teaching; and/or crypto experience - target development, network analysis, drafting intel reports, speaker/language identification
  • 6 of 10 years needs to be in the target language, crypto language processing at ILR 3 level, include quality control and mentoring
  • No more than 3 of the 10 years of experience can include reporting as the primary duty
  • 1 year experience in Quality Control at ILR 3 in target language
  • 1 of 6 years in target language has to be within 6 years of resume submission

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
