Seeking a logistics professional who can manage the day-to-day responsibilities of warehouse facilities managing inventory, material and upkeep of logistics systems. while meeting internal and government customer requirements. #LI-MJ1 *TL *MV



What you will do

  • Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet operational timelines.  
  • Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as electronic data systems administration (Wasp Barcode manufactures inventory software & systems, asset tracking, barcode scanners, barcode printers and related functions).
  • Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities: Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.



What you must have

  • Must have 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma/Equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Must have Warehouse management experience with excellent understanding of warehouse management policies and procedures
  • Must have inventory management experience and proficiently with one or multiple inventory management programs
  • Must have strong administrative ability (Shipping/receiving/inventory auditing)
  • Must have expert knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
  • Must have ability to drive continuous improvement, provide accurate reporting, and utilize data
  • Must have an active or current DoD secret clearance with the ability to upgrade clearance level to a Top Secret within a year of hire.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain base access credentials
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.



Preferred: Bonus points for...

  • Current of active DoD Top Secret clearance a plus. 
  • Proficently with WASP System preferred. 



Physical Requirements

Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment.
